Do A Duet With A Friend or Influencer TikTok Content
What is a “Duet”?
A Duet is a shared piece of video content you do with another user’s video. There are two types of duets you can do.
1. Duet with another video you liked
2. Create a Duet and ask your audience/followers to do it with you.
When you do a Duet piece of video content, you will notice on the TikTok app how the Original video is displayed on the right side of your screen, and your reaction duet video is on the left side of your screen. This will allow followers to view the videos as “One Video” on your account profile.
How to set up the “Duet” permission in TikTok App
Step 1. Open up your TikTok app on your mobile device.
Step 2. Press your finger on the Profile button at the bottom-right side of the screen.
Step 3. Tap the Hamburger icon menu on the top-right side of your screen.
Step 4. Navigate to Settings and Privacy section and select Privacy.
Step 5. Scroll down with your finger till you see Duet.
Step 6. Choose Everyone or Friends.
How to “Duet” on TikTok App
Step 1. Open up your TikTok app on your mobile device.
Step 2. Search for the video of your choice you like to do a Duet with.
Step 3. Select the share button (the curved arrow) on the right side of your screen.
Step 4. Press the Duet icon.
Step 5. Press the red circle (Record button) to record your video.
Step 6. Press the check mark and add any extra effects, stickers, or text.
Step 7. Press Next and write your description of what your video topic is about.
Step 8. Press Post to publish.
